University of Auckland

The University of Auckland is the latest member of the international Universitas 21 group to sign a Memorandum of Understanding offering joint PhD programmes.

This agreement allows doctoral students to embark on joint degrees that will enhance research and employment opportunities on an international scale. 

The Memorandum provides a framework for universities to create tailor made programmes of study for students by enabling collaboration between a network of universities.

The other insititutes involved in this programme are the Universities of Birmingham, British Columbia, Delhi, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hong Kong, Korea, McGill, Melbourne, Nottingham, Queensland and Virginia, and the Dublin University College.
